Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to schedule a time to tour the space?
    Yes, please schedule a time with the Event Center Supervisor to schedule your tour. We don't conduct tours while the space is rented, so please work with us to schedule a time to see our venue.
  • Can I put a tentative hold on the date?
    In order to reserve a date, you must to book it. Requirements for booking are: completed facility use agreement, sign the page with the pricing of the year of your event, and 1/2 of the base rent for the deposit. If your event is less than 30 days away, full payment of all estimated charges are due.
  • When is the final payment due?
    Final payments are due 30 days prior to the event.
  • What is the capacity?
    300 people is the max capacity depending on auxiliary items. Feel free to reach out to us and we can discuss any concerns you may have.
  • What are the options for a ceremony?
    There are several ceremony options available. You can have an outdoor ceremony at the performance stage ($250 with a Friday or Saturday Event Center rental, otherwise $500). Ceremonies can also take place inside the Event Center. Contact Krista to discuss which option may be best for you.
  • What spaces are included in the rental?
    When renting the Event Center, the reception hallway, ballroom, outdoor covered patio, and the immediate grass space up to the sidewalk are included. Spaces beyond the sidewalk are public.
  • Can we bring our own beverages?
    Crooked Pint holds the alcohol license for the facility. All alcohol service must be arranged withthe Crooked Pint. No outside alcohol is allowed and if found is subject to forfeit of the damage deposit and/or additional fees.
  • Can we rent the event center and curl?
    Yes! Curling is a great team building experience and a great way to socialize and break up a day of meetings or to kickoff an evening social/banquet. Learn more about group curling events.
  • Is anyone onsite during my event if we have any questions?
    Yes, we either have an event center monitor scheduled during your event and/or the front desk worker can assist with questions. Prior to your event, you will meet with the Event Center Supervisor to go over details and questions, so the day of your event goes smooth.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    18 - 12 months prior to the event: 100% of the deposit less $100 administrative fee is refunded. 11 - 6 months prior to the event: 50% of the deposit is refunded or $100 administrative fee is charged, whichever is greater. ????? Less than 6 months prior to the event: 0% is refunded.
  • Can I setup the day before my event?
    In order to setup the day before your event, you must rent it. Your setup and tear downtime must be included in your rental time frame.
  • Do you have parking?
    Our parking lot has 126 parking spaces and 11 HDCP spaces. Additional parking can be found at Veterans Park or across the street in Downtown Chaska. Downtown Chaska Parking Guide(pdf)
